Admission Process

Welcome to St. Stephene’s College of Nursing, Pathra Chowk, Supaul. Our admission process is transparent, merit-based, and conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the concerned regulatory authorities.

1. Qualify the Entrance Examination

Candidates seeking admission must appear for the relevant entrance examination conducted by the Government of Bihar:

  • B.Sc. Nursing – Through the BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination).
  • GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) – Through the DCECE (Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination).
  • ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) – Admission shall be as per the prevailing norms and guidelines issued by the competent authority.
 

2. Counselling and Seat Allotment

Eligible candidates who qualify for the entrance examination must participate in the official counselling process. Seats are allotted based on merit, reservation policy, and availability.

3. Reporting to the College

Candidates allotted a seat at St. Stephene’s College of Nursing must report to the college within the stipulated time for admission formalities.

4. Document Verification

Applicants are required to submit original documents along with photocopies for verification. Any discrepancy or false information may lead to cancellation of admission.

5. Fee Submission

After successful document verification, candidates must pay the prescribed admission and tuition fees within the notified deadline to confirm their admission.

6. Admission Confirmation

Admission is confirmed only after completion of document verification, fee payment, and fulfilment of all eligibility requirements. Students will then receive information regarding orientation, uniforms, academic schedules, and commencement of classes.

  • BCECE/DCECE Rank Card or Allotment Letter (where applicable)
  • Class 10 Mark Sheet and Certificate
  • Class 12 Mark Sheet and Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate (TC)
  • Character Certificate
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Aadhaar Card or any valid Photo ID
  • Passport-size Photographs
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
  • Any other documents required by the competent authority or the college
 

Note: Admission is strictly subject to eligibility criteria, successful qualification in the applicable entrance examination, counseling/allotment, document verification, payment of fees, and seat availability.
