St. Stephene’s College of Nursing is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment for every student. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the college campus, hostel premises, hospital training areas, and all institutional activities. The institution follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and takes strict disciplinary action against anyone found involved in such activities.
Ragging is considered a serious offense that may include physical abuse, mental harassment, bullying, intimidation, verbal misconduct, or any act that causes discomfort, fear, humiliation, or harm to another student. Such behavior not only affects the dignity and well-being of students but also violates the ethical and professional values of the institution.
At St. Stephene’s College of Nursing, we strongly believe in promoting friendship, mutual respect, discipline, and a supportive academic atmosphere. Senior students are encouraged to guide and motivate juniors positively and healthily, which helps them adjust comfortably to college life.
The college has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad to monitor and prevent any form of ragging on campus. Students are encouraged to immediately report any incident related to ragging without fear. All complaints are treated seriously and handled confidentially.
Any student found guilty of ragging may face strict action as per institutional rules and government regulations, including suspension, expulsion, cancellation of admission, or legal proceedings.
